Day to Night-Pale Pink Jeans

I recently bought a pair of light pink jeans from Zara, jumping on the pastel/colored jeans trends' bandwagon. I really love how (surprisingly) versatile they are, especially since the color is anything but conventional. I tend to pair a lot of collared shirts with them, though I love wearing black as well, for some contrast. For a casual look, I chose a sleeveless white button-down and flirty sandals. For a more formal look, I would throw a blazer over a cute lacy shell and wear classic nude pumps. The jeans that I bought can be found here:

Get Jenny Lewis' Look!

I absolutely adore Jenny Lewis, America's indie darling as well as the front woman of Rilo Kiley and Jenny and Johnny. Her style is an eclectic mix between hipster and Old West, and I love how she pulls it off so perfectly. I picked out a cute gingham frock, cowgirl-esque accessories, and casual button-downs to emulate her unique look.

Inspired by Kimbra!

I'm loving the new Australian artist Kimbra (of "Somebody That I Used to Know" fame, of course), especially her sense of style. The way she dresses is part retro, part hipster, and one hundred percent quirky and unique. I picked lots of Peter Pan collared pieces, full skirts, and edgy spikes for a super cool Kimbra-inspired look!
